Steelhead Fishing
Silver
Cloud Expeditions offers Idaho steelhead fishing trips from 1 to 6 days.
The Salmon River offers a unique
combination of federally protected wilderness, a clean free-flowing river
and numerous fishing opportunities.
During
spring and fall our quarry are steelhead - trophy ocean-run rainbow trout.
Steelhead return to the Salmon River in the fall, robust and heavy from 1
to 2 years of feeding in the Pacific. They range from 4-20 pounds,
averaging 7. After the fall season ends in December, Salmon River steelhead
winter over, providing a spring season in March and April. Our 1-day, 3-day
and 5-day steelhead fishing trips are described below.
