Our summer raft trip packages include:

  • State of the art camping gear: roomy dome tents, freshly laundered sleeping bags and self-inflating sleeping pads are all included (no extra charge!) so you don't have to bring them with you.
  • Waterproof duffels: 2 per guest, we'll pass these out at our orientation meeting the night before your trip and show you how to pack.
  • Elegant Dutch oven meals and beverages: our guides are also great chefs! We provide wine with dinner, beer and soda, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade and water.
  • All rafting gear: our equipment is state of the art - self-bailing rafts and  inflatable kayaks. We'll give you a kayak lesson, no experience necessary, and provide you with a paddle and helmet so you can meet the river "up close and personal." If you're looking for a chance to relax, sit back on an oar boat, take in the scenery and listen to stories about the river canyon while your guide navigates. On larger trips we also bring a paddle raft to give more guests the opportunity to paddle.
  • An experienced crew: our guides are fun loving talented professionals who care about your safety and want you to enjoy the Salmon canyon as much as they do. All are licensed by the State of Idaho. They are interpretive teachers with a wide range of programs that entertain and educate. They'll teach you about early inhabitants or wildlife of the Salmon canyon in the morning, how to negotiate at Class III rapid after lunch and then prepare a four course Dutch oven dinner to top off another great day on the river!

Daily activities on our summer rafting trips might include: fishing, hiking, volleyball, gold panning, visiting pictographs, a hot spring or historical homestead, wildlife viewing, swimming, horseshoes, or just relaxing with your favorite cold beverage. Camps are privately set each afternoon on beaches under towering pines.
